is extracted from the root of
Curcuma longa as raw material. It’s
a natural food pigment by the
process of solvent extracting,
concentrating, refining and drying. |

·Characteristics |
|
The appearance of
curcumin is yellowish to orange red
free flowing powder, has the
characteristic odor-turmeric like,
the active ingredient is curcumin.
It can not dissolve in water and
ether, easy to dissolve in ethanol,
acetic acid and propylene glycol,
completely soluble in acetone. The
color shade of acidic solution is
pale yellow, and reddish brown in
alkaline condition. It has a good
resistance to heat, but not to light
and Fe2+.
It has superior pigmentation
,especially for protein. |

drink, candy, wine,
ice-cream, jelly. The
usage reference is
0.01g/kg. |

Sealed, avoid light, store
in a cool and dry place.
·Shelf
Life
If the storage condition

powder is two years from
production date. Once
opened, should seal up again
and use within six months. |
